Bridging the Tongues: Alexandra Pâzgu & Soleil - Soheil Zamani

„I can imagine that the tools to get into these ways of expression allows a certain distinction from certain kind of imprisoning that we have in our selves, and allows something that maybe transcends this oneself and maybe connects us to this another self. And this feeling of connecting to something, it’s a joy.” (L. Omer)

Tandem international: Canan Marasligil (Englisch-Französich-Türkisch; Amsterdam) & Sulaiman Addonia (Englisch-Arabisch; London)

„Language is used as a tool to “other” people and that creates that very polarized spaces where no one is allowed to say anything no one is allowed to be creative, and it’s always the most vulnerable that are silenced. (C. Marasligil)

„There’s no bias in your head, there’s no definition of taboo, there’s no area where you can’t go when your characters demand you to go.” (S. Addonia)

Tandem national: Mandakini Pachauri (Englisch-Deutsch-Hindi-Punjabi; Wien) & Loulou Omer (Deutsch- Französisch-Hebräisch; Wien)

„Nature is also a cultural thing, because what do you call a street when you don’t even know its name? Or you observe things in a dissociated fashion when you had not those seasons in your own country.” (M. Pachauri)

„I can imagine that the tools to get into these ways of expression allows a certain distinction from certain kind of imprisoning that we have in our selves and allows something that maybe transcend this oneself and maybe connect us to this another self and this feeling of connecting to something it’s a joy.” (L. Omer)
